SSINKspiration: Ribbon

Today we were challenged to use ribbon on a project over at SSINKspiration.
 
I used two of my favorite ribbons on my card today!  The Burlap Ribbon from the Holiday Catalog is AWESOME!  And another old favorite of mine is the Seam Binding...especially in Cherry Cobbler!

SSINKspiration: WOW Cards!

My Paper Pumpkin: October Kit

When I got the October My Paper Pumpkin Kit in the mail, I didn't really dig it.  Here is what it's supposed to look like...

 
But I tried to think of other things to make with the kit elements.
 
 
So far I have one card that I created...

 
  
I used the Beautiful Butterlies Bigz Die to cut a butterfly out of the woodgrain chipboard!
 

 
This chipboard is thick and I wasn't sure that it would fit through the Big Shot but it was SO EASY to roll through!  The Big Shot is amazing!!

Hiding In My Craft Room #121: Use a Critter

This week over at HIMCR we are using Critters!  All you have to include on your card or scrapbook page is a cute little animal! 
 
I went with the elephant from Stampin' Up!' Zoo Babies Stamp Set.
 
 
 
I just love him!  One of my favorite things to do is to stamp him on scrap paper, cut out his ear and then pop it up!
 
Wouldn't you just love receiving this card in the mail after you had a cute little baby boy?!

SSINKspiration: Christmas Card

It's Christmas Card time over at SSINKspiration today!
 
I created a Winter Wonderland for you today!  We have two Christmas product lines in the Holiday Catalog: The Traditional Red and Green and then The Wintery Whites and Silvers!
 
I love them both but I think the Snowflakes go best with the Winter Frost line.
 
 
 
 
I started this card with a Basic Gray card base.  Then I added in a bit of Silver Glimmer Paper and Winter Frost DSP. 
 
I used 3 different sets of Dies for this card: Apothecary Accents Framelits, Festive Flurry Framelits and Expression Thinlits.
 
The "Merry" sentiment is one of my favorites!  And using the Silver Foil Sheet to cut it out is just THE BEST!!  Don't you think?

SSINKspiration: Layout Sketch

I love Tangerine Tango and Elegant Eggplant together but I would always put them with black.  Today I had to use Early Espresso and I have to say that I really like it!

Today starts a new month at HIMCR!  We have NEW Designers for you and a NEW Color Challenge that you have some freedom with...
 
 
I went with the traditional Orange and Black with a little added Gray for my card today.
 
 
 
I used a little bit of old Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! and everyting else is current!  I just love this Witches Brew Washi Tape!
